SAD.... my pet discus laid some eggs on friday. i was thrilled! looking fwd to the day the little eggs hatched into little fries and raising them a little till i get into army. BUT! this morning i woke up to find all the eggs gone ! apparently the parent fish ate up the eggs. GOSH! they were hatching already you noe. for the past 2 days the parent were like so caring and stuff, fanning and guarding the eggs. how could u eat your own little eggs huh fishy fishy fishy. if you were some cheap fish i would have steamed and eat you 2 up too you stupid fishy fishy. grrrr..... now the 2 fishes are cleaning up the spawning area getting ready to spawn again. hope they wont eat their eggs again man. dunno if it aches the parent fishes but i certainly does hurt me. was so looking fwd to the arrival of the little discus fries. sigh~
anyway, went with my parents to a dinner tonight at grassroot club near yio chu kang mrt for a merchants' dinner or something lidat. kaoz! singaporeans' bad habit of attending dinner late !!! i hate it! on the invitation it says 7! yea 7 you bloody singaporeans who cant read the time. its 7! S-E-V-E-N, 7! not 8! not 8.30 you fools! why cant everybody just be punctual. and yea... don let people wait especially if its for food. A hungry man is an angry man. but that was only the appetizer of the day ~ there were more to come. for the opening of the night's dinner, the chairman of the merchants' club made an opening speech. bravo. he was looking at his own script trying to decipher what he wrote and murmur to himself while the rest of the crowd were left to do their own stuff. and like what singaporeans were thought since day 1 in school. after whoever made a speech and he made his ending sentence, what do you do ? yea... cheer and applaud!!! hooray ! thats the end, dinner starts! but thats not all of the trouble of the day, when the chairman just finished his speech and after the applause, a familiar song sounded throughout the hallroom. birthday song! apparently half of the place was for the event only. the other was free for all. the usual dinners at the club. to my surprise the same song went on for 3 times man. 3 ppl birthday on the same day celebrating in the same place huh. of which 2 of the times were interupting the programme of the merchants' dinner, the karaoke session. i dont mind it though cause i don really like the aunties' and uncles' screeching and yelling but it is just rude man! and dumb of the management. you allow people to have karaoke session for their dinner then u want play birthday song for another client. cant you play the birthday song after the uncle or auntie finish their screeching? although i noe you are trying to save me from being deaf.. hahahaha
